When might I see results and how many treatments will I need?

Many clients notice subtle improvements after 3-4 sessions, with more visible changes around the 6th to 8th session. A standard course includes 10 weekly sessions to achieve optimal results. To maintain the effects, monthly or seasonal maintenance treatments are recommended.

How long do the
effects last?

As Cometic Needling works with your body's natural healing and collagen production, results vary based on age, skin health, stress and lifestyle. With proper care, results can last 1-5 years, especially when supported by regular maintenance sessions.

When might this treatment not be suitable?

Not recommended for individuals with: - uncontrolled high blood pressure - Severe or chronic migraines - Use of blood-thinning medications - Pregnancy - A strong aversion to needles or a history of fainting

Meet Your Practitioner

With over 20 years as a Registered Massage Therapist and more than eight years in Clinical Dry Needling, Teresa brings a wealth of knowledge of the body and a calm, professional approach to every session.  Her massage career began in London in 2004 where she completed her qualifications, and she has operated her own clinic in the BOP since 2007.  Highlights have been leadership roles as Vice-President and President of Massage Aotearoa NZ, as well as working with some of New Zealand's elite athletes and international sports teams.

Transitioning away from massage therapy, Teresa is now in the latter stages of completing a BHSc (Acupuncture) and in addition, has undertaken specialist training in Cosmetic Needling to expand her clinical expertise. 

Treatments are delivered with the highest standard of safety, ethics and care following insurance-approved dry-needling protocols.  Building on decades of hands-on experience, she is passionate about helping clients achieve both aesthetic and therapeutic results through this holistic approach.
